Herunivercity Inc. is not just an organization-it's a movement. We exist to ignite purpose, and leadership in youth and young adults ages 10-24. Through dynamic, interactive life skill modules, we equip young people with the tools they need to take charge of their emotional, physical, and economic wellbeing-empowering them to thrive in a complex, ever-changing world.
Founded in 2014 by powerhouse advocate and change-maker Chiffon Abney, Herunivercity was born out of a fierce commitment to break generational cycles of self-doubt, emotional neglect, and modern-day poverty affecting New York City's youth. At the heart of this mission is one simple yet powerful belief: every young person deserves one healthy, consistent, and positive adult mentor to guide them forward.
At Herunivercity, we don't just talk about change-we create it. By standing at the intersection of advocacy, mentorship, and real-world education, we help young people write new stories for their lives-ones marked by confidence, connection, and the courage to lead.
About Our Founder - Chiffon Abney
Chiffon Abney is a force for youth empowerment. With over two decades of experience as a licensed investment advisor and a deep commitment to social justice, her career bridges financial expertise with heartfelt community impact. She is a relentless advocate for youth, and her work is driven by the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed-no matter their zip code or background.
